In February of 2023, Rai & i had the opportunity to create a performance for AUB’s Creative Events Management Museum Late at Russell-Cotes for Valentine’s Day. I’m so grateful for this opportunity to perform our specially created duet in such a beautiful vicinity. The performance was so intimate & heartwarming - i could feel the connection and engagement between audience & performer as i danced. The museum is so stunning & such a beautiful vicinity which made it even more of an honour to bring this little corner of the gallery to life with dance. Rai & i worked so hard choreographing this piece so it was truly magical to place it in such a gorgeous venue and perform it in such an intimate way. I truly cannot describe how meaningful it felt for us to have the chance to be a part of this and how wonderful of an experience it was performing this piece in an unbelievably beautiful venue. It was so touching to be a part of something created out of love for the purpose of presenting love, and to get to create it with Rai meant we could carve lots of our own love and friendship into the choreography itself. A Valentine’s Day i will forever treasure; It was such a surreal performance experience and especially being my first professional dance job it’ll always be super special to me.
